Founded in 2015 by Marina De Buchi, Marina De Buchi was created with a mission beyond jewelry.

Before launching the brand, Marina worked in the fashion industry but felt the work lacked meaning and long-term impact. She wanted to create something with purpose, not just aesthetics.

What started as a jewelry concept developed into a mission-driven brand after attending a women’s conference where Marina learned more about human trafficking and modern-day slavery. From that point, the brand became focused on awareness, freedom, and supporting women.

Marina De Buchi contributes 10% of all online sales to partner charities working to combat human trafficking and support survivors. This includes both financial contributions and gifting jewelry pieces through selected initiatives to reinforce value and dignity. Our partner charities include Bright Fame (Amsterdam), Exodus Cry (Los Angeles), Treasures (Los Angeles), Rahab (Sydney), and A21 (Cambodia & Thailand).

The brand’s mission is to raise awareness that human trafficking exists and to be a voice for the voiceless. Even if only one life is impacted in any way, it would all be worth it.

As Christine Caine, founder of A21, says, “We can’t do everything, but we can do something.”

Each piece is designed with a message behind it. The intention is that every item serves as a daily reminder for the wearer, something that reflects strength, identity, and purpose in everyday life.

The message “Beyond fear lies freedom” sits at the core of the brand.

The focus is creating jewelry with meaning, designed to be worn as a reminder of perspective, resilience, and direction. Each piece is also intended to feel personal and sentimental, speaking to where someone is in their life and serving as a reminder of what they are moving through or toward.

We believe jewelry should be made to last. All pieces are designed to be water-resistant and tarnish-free, made for everyday wear without losing their finish or meaning.

At Marina De Buchi, we believe "it's not the jewelry that will change the world, it's the women who wear it"
